Class Description
In this class Dr. Nita Bishop N.D. of Granite Falls Naturopathic Medicine will discuss multiple herbs and homeopathics that you want to keep in your Herbal Medicine Chest. Examples of herbs/homeopathics to be covered are: Apis for bee stings, Arnica for trauma, Allium cepa (garlic) for colds, runny nose or allergies; Thyme, Comfrey, Marigold, Echinacea and Eyebright.
In addition, the First-Aid Herbal Medicine & Homeopathy class will include a herb walk pointing out live growing medicinal herbs.

Dr. Nita Bishop, ND. is a primary care physician licensed in the state of Washington who practiced as a Clinical Herbalist for 15 years before becoming a Naturopathic Doctor.
She co-developed the first B.S. degree in Herbal Medicine at Bastyr University, the leading naturopathic medical school in the country and is Adjunct Research Professor at Southwest College of Naturopthic medicine in Phoenix AZ.
She also lectures, broadcasts and writes on health topics from a naturopathic perspective.
